let us look at it this way;
1.database management operation
2.clinical analysis of database
which of the two activities you want to outsource?
apparently you would want devote your attention to the second as
first one is a routine mechanical operation.
IT companies can do better job of it,and at a future time if you want to
any modification in data retrieval they do so more easily, or incorporate
required s/w initially.
more importantly you would not like to give an
insight into your thinking, to another party which is in the same line of business.
